Happy Father's Day

Hope everyone had a great Father's Day. We enjoyed hanging out with my parents in Bastrop and had a nice relaxing day. We are so grateful for Brian and the wonderful father he is.

He does such a great job with Madison and we are so excited to see him more the next two years. It is so crazy to think that we will be having another one in just a few months. Today we had our ultrasound and now Brian feels like it is actually real. This was a 3D sonogram that looks kinda cool but the baby kept getting too close to the placenta to get a great picture.

Brian's favorite Father's Day gift didn't come until today: finding out that we are having a BOY!

I couldn't believe how clearly you could see his parts! Brian is so excited and already calling him Jackson. We haven't decided on a middle name yet so feel free to throw out some ideas. I can't wait to see how Madison will respond to a little brother-I think she'll be amazing. I'm hoping the hugging and kissing phase will last that long. I was also very excited but thought that it was a girl. Now thinking about it, this really is nice having one of each already! We are thrilled!

Congrats, congrats, and congrats! I just can't wait to see pictures of your new baby! Even though it's far away, I'm sure Jackson will just steal the show.

That is exciting news - I love our boy. I know you and Madison will enjoy him as much as Brian (maybe).
My sister is due with a boy in the beginning of November and is planning on naming him Jackson too. Congratulations!

HIP HIP HOORAY!!! I am SOOOOO happy for you guys. Everyone always says girls are the best (mainly because you can dress them so cute I'm sure) but honestly, having 2 boys of my own...there is just something very, very special about a litte boy!! I love Avery to pieces and LOVE having a girl but You will know what I am talking about the moment he is placed in your arms.

Congratulations to both of you!

How exciting! Congrats! I know Madison will just love him. So, are you planning on continuing the -son names (MadiSON, JackSON)? I would say the middle name should be Brian, but that sounds weird. I love family middle names though. Good luck picking one out!

Congrats a boy!!! I'm so excited for you guys! When Owen heard the news he started doing flips and kicking for joy! He can't wait to have a little boy to play with! I love little boys! It's good we have Madison to handle all these boys were having.

I hope your feeling well, and it sounds like you gave Brian the best Father's Day gift ever!

The comment from Paul is actually from me, if you couldn't figure that out. When do boys ever leave comments?

Yeah! That is awesome. I can't wait to get my ultrasound, I guess I've got another 2-3 weeks before she will do one on me. But I have a weird feeling it's a boy, but we will see. I think Madison will be great with a brother, she loves Eric so that's good practice!

Congrats on having a BOY! That is great that you will have one of each. I like the name Lee or John for a middle name. I think Jackson is way cute (but still "manly", haha)!

Yea for a little boy! Can't wait to meet him! I'm sure when we think about kid #2, Andy will be consulting Brian for some advice. :) As for middle names, I always like family names. Brian would be cute as a middle name!

This is going to seem really crazy but I think I went to school with you in Smithville and you were on one of the "top reccomendations" on my google reader tonight and when I went to comment just now I saw a comment from my husband's cousin Christi Nelson. SMALL WORLD! I think I remember you having lighter hair though. Feel free to check our blog! I'd love to see if you are from smithville!

I actually moved after my freshman year at Smithville. I graduated in 2003, were you 2002? I think I remember you from cheer in Jr. High and maybe band? So you know Christi too? She is my husband's cousin I think I said that already but fun to see the connections out there!

Vic gave me the link to your blog, and I decided that I should comment on your middle name request. If it were me I would choose Nolan because how great would it be for your son to know he was named after a Nuclear Engineer? If your not up to that Brian may work too. By the by Keree and I are expecting as well in February. I thought I should check in... Hope all is well with your little family.
